The members of the Orlando Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, welcome you to our web site. We received our chapter charter on December 15, 1906. Our chapter is located in central Florida, Orange county, in the city of Orlando, known as " The City Beautiful."

Orlando's  Greenwood Cemetery


On March 13, 2008, the chapter realized a two-year goal to honor the original thirteen chapter members. The monument is beautiful with eagles nesting above and is a part of the historic Greenwood Cemetery evening tour every week.

 
 

Chapter Motto: "Honored be our ancestors of any clime and age and may  the Pilgrims' freedom be our lasting heritage."

Chapter Flower: Poinsettia. December 12 was set aside as National Poinsettia Day by an Act of Congress.
