Native American
Heritage Recognition Month was established by Congress
in 1990 and is celebrated in November. Barefoot Beach recognized this by
having their program speaker, Sidney Tatom, enlighten our membership on
the awesome work of the American Indian Windtalkers and their contributions
during WWII. Our November meeting was an exciting occasion for our newest members. Five of them were installed by
our chapter Registrar, Jackie Pechette, with the help of our chapter Chaplain, Ann Denney.

Mary Robinson, Cindy Jarboe, and Barbara Aldrich with Registrar Jackie Pechette, and Regent Jean Hutt.
